ACL Covid Testing Clinics Permanently Closing
Since September 2021, MMSD has participated in the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) K-12 Covid-19 Testing in Schools Program. MMSD has been able to provide rapid antigen and PCR Covid testing for our students, staff, and school families, accounting for a large amount testing within Dane County. Our district has played a huge role in reducing the risk of Covid exposure in our schools, and keeping our community safe. With the upcoming end to the Covid-19 federal emergency on 5/11/23, DHS has announced the step-down of the K-12 COVID-19 School Testing Program. The last day of testing at MMSD sites will be 4/28/23.
School health offices will still be able to provide rapid antigen testing through the end of the school year (No PCR). Students and Staff must be registered within the Covid Connect 2.0 system.
