• Now that we are beginning a phased reopening of schools, starting with grades 4K–2, we need you to make a decision: Will your 4K–grade 5 student be coming to in-person school? OR Will your 4K–grade 5 student continue to learn virtually?
  • MMSD will begin a phased return to in-person instruction, starting with Kindergarten students, March 9th.
Additional grade levels will be transitioned back to in-person on a weekly basis, while virtual learning will remain an option for all students who wish to continue learning from home.
  • Early Literacy and Beyond Task Force
MMSD and the UW-Madison School of Education have formed a joint Early Literacy and Beyond Task Force to work toward improving reading outcomes and reducing achievement gaps.
  • Madison voters approved two referendum questions, lifting Madison up as a thriving, equitable, and inclusive community for generations to come.
Thank you for your engagement in each step of the process. We are so proud to be a part of a community that believes in the value of providing an innovative, equity-driven educational experience for our students in well-maintained facilities. #MMSDfamily
